Founder of Head Start Physiotherapy
A paediatric physiotherapist devoted to helping babies build strong foundations for movement, with compassionate, family-centred, evidence-based care.
Sejal is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences and my Master's in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University. Throughout my career, I have specialized in pediatrics, establishing a deeply rooted foundation in early intervention and pediatric care. This journey includes over 15 years of dedicated service with The Hospital for Sick Children, as well as extensive community-based rehabilitation services for school-aged children through the Children's Treatment Network in the Markham area.
Having worked closely with the pediatric population across both highly specialized hospital settings and community environments, I understand the full, intricate continuum of childhood development. This extensive experience allows me to deliver specialized care for your baby while actively collaborating with you, providing the coaching, education, and resources necessary to support your baby's unique needs.
I bring a gentle, holistic approach to early intervention, blending advanced neurodevelopmental concepts with the alignment and body awareness from my personal yoga practice to treat the whole baby. Enriched by my personal journey as a mother, I bring profound empathy to every family I support, creating a nurturing therapeutic space where your baby can build a stable foundation for milestone progression, while equipping you with the tools to give them a Head Start.
